Motivation

Core-collapse supernovae are one of the most exciting targets for interdisciplinary science. The aim of the workshop is to exchange the opinions based on the different fields, such as nuclear physics, stellar evolution, plasma physics, neutrino physics (including radiation hydrodynamics) and general relativity. Recently we obtained several explosion models in the detailed numerical simulations. Those models might become the clue to understand the next riddles of core-collapse supernovae by providing the data that can be compared to the associated multi-messengers (neutrinos, gravitational waves and photons). The discussion presented in the workshop will visualize the next direction for the investigation of the core-collapse supernovae.

Program

6/27 (Mon) Explosion Mechanism
6/28 (Tue) Nucleosynthesis and Observation of SNe
6/29 (Wed) Beyond one Bethe? (magnetar and superluminous supernovae)
6/30 (Thu) Stellar evolution and black hole formation
7/01 (Fri) Multi-messenger astronomy
