Symposium of Basic Science Research Programs on the Fugaku supercomputer

Organized by 5 Fugaku research projects related to basic science, a three-day symposium is held to discuss how Fugaku is used for the research from particle physics to astrophysics, as well as condensed matter and quantum science.

Keynote talks

– Emiko Hiyama (Tohoku University)
– Yohei Miki (Information Technology Center, University of Tokyo)
– Taisuke Boku (Center for Computational Sciences, University of Tsukuba)

The symposium mainly consists of report from the Fugaku research projects, but there are slots for related talks. The deadline for the application is Nov 30, 2025. Financial support is available for speakers.

Talks are mainly given in Japanese, but speakers are advised to prepare slides in English. We also provide English session.
